Tooling, not legal advice

Discloze helps you find and fix unlabeled AI-generated content and undisclosed chatbots on a website. It is a practical tool - not a lawyer, not a certification, and not a guarantee of compliance with any law.

What the results mean

  • Deterministic signals (C2PA Content Credentials and IPTC/EXIF metadata) are reliable when present, but most AI content on the web carries no such metadata - so their absence does not mean content isn't AI-generated.
  • “Likely AI” results (filename hints and any classifier) are estimates, shown as probabilities and never as certainty. Always confirm them yourself.
  • A compliance score is a heuristic summary, not a legal assessment.

About the rule summaries

We map findings to published transparency rules (for example the EU AI Act Article 50 and California AB 723) and cite the source and effective date for each. Laws change, are amended, and are interpreted by courts and regulators. Our summaries are for guidance and may be incomplete or out of date - always check the primary source and get advice for your situation.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for whether and how you comply with the laws that apply to you. Use Discloze to understand and reduce risk, then confirm important decisions with a qualified legal professional.
